“TEXT & TRUST" (What do they really believe in?)
Kunsthalle Zürich
Coordinated by Seline Fuelscher
Kunsthalle Zürich presents a dialogue-based workshop. Using the familiar format of text messages, participants can create a shared archive of comments, questions and answers about artworks. We will start by remaining anonymous and then later reveal ourselves in a panel discussion. We were inspired by the mediation project "Was glauben die eigentlich?" (What do they really think?!) During the workshop, participants couple questions with issues of trust: "How does your institution succeed in gaining visitors' trust?"
UNA PICCOLISSIMA RIVOLUZIONE (A tiny revolution)
Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci
Coordinated by Irene Innocente
“At school we don't feel seen, we don't feel listened to as individuals.” The project “Una piccolissima Rivoluzione” started from this powerful declaration from a student during the project’s co-design phase in November 2022. From that very moment, the project has focused on supporting teenagers by exposing them to museums and art practice as a way to convey courage after the pandemic. By collecting their suggestions and understanding their needs, the project implements actions at schools and museums, both during and outside school hours. The result is an extraordinarily ambitious, participatory guide, a “ready-to-experiment” booklet, consisting of an ever-growing manual with concrete instructions on how we can make a tiny revolution in museums, schools or wherever! Participants in EDI 2023’s workshop will be invited to help with this project. Una piccolissima rivoluzione is an artistic and educational project created by Cristina Pancini and the Education Departments at Centro Pecci for Contemporary Art, Museo del Tessuto and the Palazzo Pretorio Museum in Prato. It was established within the framework of the project, Prato Comunità Educante, and financed by the Cassa di Risparmio di Prato Foundation as part of ImPatti creAttivi action and coordinated by Pane e Rose Cooperativa Sociale.
