As the communication paradigms of digital civilization are based on the dynamic combination of word and image, the icon-text (the fusion of image and text) is an increasingly present language in today's cultural panorama. From this observation, this workshop will try to rethink the icon-text tradition (the visionary power of text becoming image), privileging the conflictual hybridisation between word and image, moving from poetry to painting, from narrative to painting.
