DISCONNESSIONI NELL’ASCOLTO DEL SILENZIO (Disconnection through Listening to Silence)
Certosa e Museo di San Martino
Curated by the Museum's Education Department
with the participation of the performer Mauro Maurizio Palumbo
In a fast-moving world, post-modern humanity seems to have lost the ability to focus and listen in the present moment, as we are surrounded by all kinds of prompts. Certosa di San Martino, a place of choice for spirituality and ascetic life, proposes an experiential workshop for all those willing to disconnect: we will reflect on the phenomenon of phubbing in the age of wild hyper-technological consumerism. By becoming the actor of a performative action, each participant will be invited to leave the world behind and connect with oneself.
In adopting the theme of listening to silence, participants will be invited to turn off their mobile phones.
PERCORSO TATTILE DEL MAP - PER TERRA E PER MARE - PICENTINI ECOMUSEUM
Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Pontecagnano
Coordinated by Ilaria Menale
The Pontecagnano National Archaeological Museum presents several of its projects that have transformed traditional visits to its collection, aimed at promoting art education that embraces both psycho-perceptive and sensorial experiences. The first of these projects is "Percorso tattile del MAP", an inclusive and accessible initiative developed for both able-sighted and visually impaired audiences, where touch takes centre stage in a tactile tour of copies of the museum's artifacts, made with similar materials and techniques to the originals. Subsequently, we will show a short video about one of the museum’s permanent immersive video installations, "Per Terra e per mare" – created for the exhibition Per terra e per mare. Gli Etruschi di frontiera tra mobilità e integrazione – demonstrating an example of how digital technology impacts cultural production models and the dissemination and transmission of culture. The final project consists of a brief introduction of the eco-walking project "Picentini Ecomuseum - Lands of Happiness".
